“丝路天文”讲坛第七十二讲:Gamma-ray Observations of the Inner Galaxy, and Implications for Dark Matter and Cosmic-ray

The Galactic Center is an interesting region, characterized by an extraordinarily high density of dark matter, the presence of cosmic-ray accelerators such as the supermassive black hole and supernova remnants, as well as dense molecular clouds and intense magnetic fields. These unique features make it a prime target for both dark matter indirect detection and cosmic-ray studies. Gamma-ray emissions from the Galactic Center have been detected by numerous instruments, offering valuable insights into these phenomena. In this talk, I will present our work on gamma-ray line searches using DAMPE observations, the GeV gamma-ray excess in the Galactic Center, an exploration of cosmic-ray properties within the Central Molecular Zone, and a discussion of constraints on axion-like particles derived from gamma-ray observations in this region.
主讲嘉宾简介:
黄晓渊,中国科学院紫金山天文台研究员。2007年获得北京师范大学学士学位,2013年获中国科学院大学博士学位,先后于德国马普物理研究所,紫金山天文台,德国慕尼黑工业大学和丹麦尼尔斯玻尔研究所进行博士联合培养与博士后研究工作。研究兴趣为暗物质间接探测与相关高能天体物理和天体粒子物理,发表SCI论文60余,包括ESI高被引论文3篇,中国百篇最具影响国际学术论文2篇,国际粒子物理数据组收录研究结果4篇,先后获得洪堡学者,中科院百人计划,江苏省双创人才,国家优秀青年科学基金等资助。
