报告题目：From DAMNED, AMIDAS to TiResearch

　　摘    要：Cloud computing is not just a business for industry and companies, it can also be a useful technique for scientific research and education. In this talk I will first introduce the basic concept of cloud computing and describe how we can apply this interesting and powerful tool to scientific uses, including research, training, and education. Then I will talk about some recent progress of online scientific research and education: websites (e.g. the DAMNED Dark Matter Web Tool), collaborations and accords as well as journals/publications.
        As the main part of this talk, I will demonstrate how to use our AMIDAS package online for both Monte-Carlo simulations and analyzing (pseudo)data sets to extract properties of halo Dark Matter particles, e.g. the mass and the (ratios between the) spin-independent and spin-dependent couplings/cross sections on nucleons. At the end of my talk, the TiResearch Collaboration (http://www.tir.tw/) and their achievements so far will also be mentioned.
